Joanie KriensJoanie KriensCo-CreatorJoanie is a philanthropist and co-creator of 1440 Foundation, 1440 Multiversity, and the Canopy Cancer Collective. For more than two decades, she has worked with nonprofits helping students and educators increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and learn mindfulness. Her foundational efforts launched some of the first school-based social and emotional learning programs in the United States. Through Joanie's work, she witnessed deep disconnects in the healthcare systems between patients, healthcare providers and access to lifesaving treatments. This led to the development of the Canopy Cancer Collective. With hope, innovation and collaboration, cancer survivors can become cancer thrivers. That is "hope for living well." That is Joanie's vision for 1440 Foundation.
